Nothing chases autumn’s chill away like this steamy, spicy, vodka-swirled hot cider drink created by professional mixologist Michael Snyder. Try it without the vodka, too.
1 oz. vodka
4 to 5 oz. apple cider
caramel apple dipping sauce
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add vodka and New England apple cider. Add a dash of ground cinnamon.
- Strain into a container that is suitable and safe for microwaving. Microwave for about 30 seconds until hot, but not boiling.
- Rim a coffee mug or other hot beverage glass with powdered (confectioners) sugar. Ladle warm beverage into the prepared glass.
- Garnish your cocktail with another dash of cinnamon and an apple slice that has been coated with caramel apple dipping sauce. Sip and enjoy.
